My CV

Research

I started my research by looking at a page on zety.com. Click here to view page. I also cross referenced this with a page on totaljobs.com (Click here to view page) and reed.co.uk. (Click here to view page)

From what I have l learned on the sites listed above, I created a template to follow for myself to make sure I include everything.

In addition, from the websites I cross - referenced with, I also learned a few more things:

I should have somebody else check it before submitting it to an employer.

Because CVs are sorted into yes and no piles on first glance, it's important to make it presentable, but also easy to read and keep it short. If your CV is in any way difficult to read, they're not going to read it.

Try to use keywords so it will come up on a search for that keyword.

You should also try to briefly mention hobbies and interests you have, but it has to be made relevant.

Have a base CV, then always tailor it to whatever it is you're applying for.
